Before I joined the program, I felt like a mess: I was eating out typically 2x/day; I had so much brain fog it was hard to concentrate or be productive; I drank 48-64 oz of soda/day - I seriously needed it to function; I was depressed and anxious; I didn't have a schedule and I was reactive all day; I was addicted to sugar... I was just exhausted! I can't tell you the number of times I'd grab a notebook and I'd say, "Ok, this is going to be my schedule... " and it would never last! 

Now, I feel like everything has changed! I'm no addicted to sugar. I don't need my soda. My brain fog is gone! I have so much energy! I take better care of myself than I ever have before. I don't diet and I have a really great relationship with food... I'm losing weight. And I have a schedule! ...Every week there's improvement! The biggest shift for me has been HOPE! I finally have hope that I can do the things that matter to me! I'm confident I can master things and create the life I want to live. It's exciting!

I used to write out lists of things I wanted to get done and wouldn't get to any of it. I felt like my life was SO out-of-control. I felt like I just couldn't catch my breath. I was constantly making excuses for myself. I knew I REALLY needed help with how I could manage my time better, but it seemed like no matter what I tried, I would end up exactly where I started. 

Now, I'm able to focus on the MOST important things... when before there were too many important things. 

I'm able to LIVE my life instead of trying to do all the things and please all the people.  My days have totally shifted because I'm able to create my life from a place of empowerment instead of disempowerment... 

I feel like my relationships with my kids have shifted because when I say, "I'm going to be there," I'm there. I'm reliable to other people because I can rely on myself.

I just wanted to report that I totally rocked my November goal to lose 8 pounds! I am so proud of myself! My plan for December is to do it again. I can see how far I've come since I first gained that freshman fifteen, seventeen-ish years ago...I have gained and lost the weight eight times so far, this will be number nine and I can see this being the healthiest time physically and mentally. 

I am so grateful for the way I currently feel about my body. I know it hasn't always been this way and I am so grateful for how far I've come. I was doing my yoga this morning. I had lit a candle and I felt like... yes, I love the life I am creating! I think that was the main thing that drew me to you in the beginning - you love the life you've created for yourself. And I'm starting to love mine as well! 

I've just feeling been feeling so so grateful for this beautiful life I've been blessed with, the whole human experience, the good and the bad. Thank you!

I have been blown away by Janeen’s knowledge and ability to help me close the gap between where I am and where I want to be in all aspects of my life. I've discovered how to tap into my biggest dreams (and learned that it's okay to do so) and work toward accomplishing anything from small house projects to things I didn't think were possible.

My husband was just commenting on how he hasn't been sick in a long time, and how his digestive issues have improved. This is hard to prove, but I truly believe that all of these changes for the good have helped my kids' behavior.  AND! Almost all of my pants are now too big. :)

A little bit about me.

I am a mom of 4 kids, military spouse, and Certified Life Coach.

I have spent 2 decades in the health and fitness space as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, yoga teacher, and plant-based educator... but I found whole health and balance after I discovered life coaching.

You don't have to be plant-based to work with me. In fact, most of the things I coach people on are not directly related to fitness and nutrition.

I've tried to put my health first many times before but it wouldn't last. I would get sick of being hungry, I would miss old foods, I would get bored of exercise. Before this class, I felt like I gave my life for my kids, and that was okay, because I love them. But I can act on my love more now. I have more to give. I am present in their lives in a way that I wasn't before. My 11-year-old daughter said, "Mom, I used to come home and ask you to do things with me and you were too tired - now I come home and you ask me to do things with you."
